When Toyota and Yamaha collaborated on the 2ZZ-GE, they created a very compact but high-powered and very high-revving package. This engine is a 1.8-litre inline-four. It was introduced in 1999 and has since been fitted to cars like Corolla (T-Sport), Celica (GT-S) from Toyota and even Lotus Elise and Exige models.
