How long is the warranty period?

We offer a 6-month warranty on used engines, provided that the rules we specify are followed during installation. If the engine fails within this period, Orbi Motors will arrange for the engine to be collected from the customer and we will either carry out a warranty repair or replace it with another engine.

About the AGU Engine – Specs & Technical Data

The AGU motor is a 1.8-litre petrol from VAG. It’s an inline-four cylinder with a turbocharger, first introduced in the late 1990s. Ever since its introduction into the market, this particular member of the EA113 engine family group has captivated the attention and hearts of many motoring enthusiasts looking for reliable and dynamic petrol. There is also plenty of room for tuning.

The AGU is a DOHC engine with 20 valves and a K03 turbo. Stock, from the factory line, it develops 110 kW and 210 Nm of torque. Despite the reasonably low compression ratio (9.5:1), there is an upside of handling a larger turbo boost.

Strong internals are also worth mentioning, making the motor capable of handling much more power. This engine was fitted to the Mk4 Golf GTI, Audi A3, VW Bora, and Skoda Octavia.

The most common problems include coil pack failure and excess turbo wear. Besides that, this is a very nice engine for a daily driver or a potential project car.
